In a past campaign, in order to bring the client’s perspective before a critical international panel, IMI’s chief operative organized and executed a series of activities culminating in a mission to the council meeting. These activities included recruiting economists for expert analysis, crafting a study to quantify the impact to countries engaged in the debate, conducting one-on-one meetings with diplomats, and briefing reporters. The actions helped educate council member countries on the stakes of the issue in the council.
